Collections

Get paid on time, without a day of follow-up calls.

OrderDak Collections takes your outstanding bills, decides who to chase first, and follows up each customer on WhatsApp and email, politely and then firmly, with a payment link, until the bill is settled. It is part of OrderDak: the same company, the same Tally data and the same bridge.

Orders in, money in: the 48-second tour

How an order reaches Tally and how the bill gets followed up, shown on sample data. Narrated with a synthetic voice.

How payment follow-up works today

  • Someone scrolls the ageing report in Tally and decides who to call.
  • Reminders go out one WhatsApp message at a time, when someone remembers.
  • Promises to pay are kept in someone's head, so nobody follows up when a date passes.
  • Matching NEFT and UPI credits in the bank statement to bills takes hours, and TDS short-payments are missed.

How Collections handles it

  • Bring in your outstanding bills: upload Tally's Bills Receivable report, a Zoho Books receivables report or any Excel ageing sheet. With the OrderDak bridge on your Tally PC, bills and contacts can sync every 15 minutes.
  • Each customer gets a risk score from amount, age, payment history and promises kept, so you start with the bills that matter.
  • Reminders go out before the due date and more firmly after it, on WhatsApp and email, only in working hours. You approve each one, or let them go automatically.
  • AI reads replies and suggests the promise-to-pay date, dispute or payment claim. Disputes, and replies that are not in English, always go to a person.
  • Each reminder can carry a Razorpay link or a UPI QR code for your own UPI ID. Upload a bank statement and each credit is matched to a customer and bill.

Setting it up

  1. Open Collections from OrderDak, or sign in at collections.orderdak.com with your OrderDak email. Your business is set up for you.

  2. Upload your outstanding bills, or connect the OrderDak bridge on your Tally PC.

  3. Review the reminder templates and the schedule, then switch on the customers you want followed up.

Good to know

  • One account for orders and collections: sign in to either with an emailed code from OrderDak, and switch between them in one click.
  • Reminder templates are ready in English. Hindi and Hinglish templates are drafts for you to read before use.
  • Automatic WhatsApp reminders need a WhatsApp Business Platform number. Without one, you send each reminder from your own phone in one tap.
  • Voice-call reminders are not available yet.

Questions

Will my customers feel harassed?

No. Every sequence starts with a courteous reminder before the due date, keeps to working hours, and stops as soon as a payment, a promise-to-pay date or a dispute is recorded. You approve the tone and every template before anything goes out.

Do messages come from my number and email?

Yes. WhatsApp reminders come from your own number, and email goes from your own mailbox (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or any SMTP server).

I am a registered micro or small enterprise. Does it help with the 45-day rule?

Yes. Collections lists every late bill with its 45-day due date, days late and interest under Section 16 of the MSMED Act, ready to download for an MSME Samadhaan filing.

Do I need to use OrderDak for orders to use Collections?

No. Collections works on its own from an upload of your outstanding bills. If you already use the OrderDak bridge for orders, the same bridge sends your bills and contacts.
